YSY is a Listening Bar and event venue in Berlin Friedrichshain, built around music culture, selected drinks and the idea that quality does not have to come with attitude. Located on Frankfurter Allee near Frankfurter Tor, we are a bar for long evenings, spontaneous afterwork drinks, live music, DJ sets, food pop-ups and all the other good reasons to stay out a little longer than planned.

 

Music has always been a big part of YSY. Our fully equipped DJ booth and custom-built professional sound system were made for a first-class listening experience – whether someone is playing records on an atmospheric bar night or the whole place turns into a dancefloor for club nights and special events.

 

The same goes for what we serve. Behind the bar, our team works with house cocktail creations, selected wines, beer, non-alcoholic drinks and bar food. Always with the same approach: considered, high quality and never unnecessarily complicated. Our programme regularly brings food pop-ups, artists and different music communities into the space, making YSY feel a little different every time you come by.

 

And sometimes, YSY is entirely yours. Our 114 m² bar and event space in Berlin can be booked for birthdays, private parties, corporate and brand events, dinners, screenings and creative productions. Depending on the setup, we can host up to 150–200 guests standing or around 80 seated indoors, with an additional outdoor terrace for 40 guests.

 

YSY sits inside a historic building on Frankfurter Allee with high ceilings, large panoramic windows and a terrace with sunset view. Inside, wood, marble and rich colours are complemented by a rotating selection of works by young Berlin artists, giving the space its own character somewhere between bar, listening room and gallery.
